GeneTech Animal Reproduction provides services in equine assisted reproduction, concentrating mainly on the Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) techniques. Our company employs world renowned embryologists to provide the most successful equine embryo produc- tion. ICSI is an in-vitro fertilization technique used in equine breeding for the production of embryos. This technique consists of injecting a single sperm cell into an oocyte using fresh or frozen semen. Embryos are then developed in the lab from 7-10 days. Once the embryo is produced, it will then be transferred into a recipient mare or frozen and stored for later transfer.
