‘Learn and earn’ at your own pace at budget-friendly convention
In a year in which a global pandemic has made everyday life more difficult and cumbersome, the AAEP has made acquiring relevant CE easy, convenient and cost-effective.
The AAEP’s 2020 Virtual Convention &Trade Show, which kicks off Dec. 1 from the comfort of your home or office, will deliver a broad range of clinical and business education to help you improve patient health and practice
success.You can start earning CE immediately if you wish by watching on-demand recordings of educational sessions on your desktop, laptop or other mobile device; keep earning CE on-demand at your convenience until June 30, 2021.
While Table Topics and several educational sessions will be presented live during the first half of December, these, too, will be recorded and made available on-demand within 48 hours afterward.
The online nature of this year’s convention means there is no need to take time off from practice nor sit at your computer for hours on end. The reduced member registra- tion rate of $349 (and just $75 for residents, interns and students), coupled with travel, hotel and entertainment savings, has made it more affordable than ever to attend the annual convention.

convention.aaep.org. Registration will remain open until Dec. 31, granting access to on-demand recordings of the entire educational program until June 30, 2021.
Opportunity knocks at Career Fair
Are you in between jobs or looking for a new opportuni- ty? Let AAEP help get your resumé in front of practices looking to fill open positions during the virtual convention. Here’s how:
1. Create or log in to your AAEP Career Center account at
jobs.aaep.org.
2. Upload your resumé if you haven’t already done so.
3. Indicate on your account page that you’ll be partici- pating in the Virtual Career Fair, which will highlight your resumé for participating employers to review and contact you (confidentially if you prefer).
You’ll also be able to view a list of participating employers and create email job alerts for new Career Fair listings. If you have questions about the Virtual Career Fair, contact Megan Gray, member concierge, at

Hit the road for fun and fitness
Lace up your running or walking shoes and giddy up for the AAEP Outrun 2020 Virtual 5K/10K fun run, sponsored by Merck Animal Health. The instruc- tions are simple: just complete either 3.1 or 6.2 miles at your own pace by Dec. 31. Add a bit of camaraderie by challenging colleagues to run or walk with you.
