of strongyle eggs onto pasture be detected promptly so that they can be appropriately treated to reduce contamination onto grazing. Whilst this could potentially lead to increased use of anthelmintics in certain individuals, treatment based on FEC results is targeted and evidence- based, and will result in more effective control of pasture contamination than traditional interval treatments.
