Traumatic Bullous Keratopathy Expectations
Traumatic bullous keratopathy should resolve, be- ginning in the periphery first, over 3 to 6 weeks. Thermal keratoplasty or a Gundersen flap may help recalcitrant eyes. The edema is permanent if De- scemet’s membrane detaches.
